This all natural formula with lemon myrtle and lime essential oils cleans dishes brilliantly without leaving any nasties.
Handmade in the Queensland Noosa hinterland by a small family business.
Kin Kin is packaged in kraft paper bag that is plastic foil lined and thus is not recyclable. The manufacturer of Kin Kin believes this is needed to preserve the life of the powder, which can activate if exposed to moisture. For plastic free packaging, please consider Lil' Bit Dishwasher powder in a home compostable bag.
About Dishwasher sheets
Dishwasher sheets are made from a petroleum plastic named Polyvinyl alcohol (PAV). They are not plastic free, and in fact are single use plastic, because even though they claim that the plastic "dissolves into nothing", it still required fossil fuels to be extracted, refined and shipped around the world to make the sheet. That you then use in one load of laundry. Dishwasher tablets are in little plastic packets made from the same PVA plastic.
Subscriptions
Each bag is approx. 160 washes. At one wash per day that is 5 months. You could subscribe to a delivery every four months so you never run out (or go for the smaller 1.1kg bag every two months). At any time in the future you can modify the products in your subscription or frequency, skip a delivery or cancel. Should you need products at different frequencies, you can also create more than one subscription.
Find here the 1.1kg bag of Kin Kin Dishwasher powder that lasts for 70 washes.
