Kakadu Plum contains natural Vitamin C (
biological ascorbic acid)*. With skin care, it is necessary for the vitamin C to be extracted and held in a suspension so that it remains available. Biome's Kakadu Plum extract is scientifically-tested to prove the existence of available vitamin C, though the exact amount can not be consistently guaranteed. Kakadu Plum has a natural entourage of vitamins and properties that work together. The vitamin c transferred from the cell and suspended in a liquid extraction medium of glycerin (natural humectant) and water, which is also the delivery system.

Natural Vitamin C is also referred to as ascorbic acid, and can be thought of as biological ascorbic acid in its natural source. Vitamin C and ascorbic acid are used within the industry as the same molecule, but the distinguishing factor of this molecule is the source – either synthetic or natural.
